The Students of the FH-Steyr arrange an event where amateur captains and their crew members built a boat and cruise on the river named "Steyr" (from Frabrikinsel til FH building).

The Boatmania is taking place every year since 1999 and is favored by many young and old people and is known even far across the borders of Steyr.

Everybody who sticks to the technical rules is invited to take part and build a boat.

What would be the craziest boat race without an appropriate feast. From 12 o clock on when the stating shot is, fun, entertainment as well as sportsmanship are standing in foreground.

While many teams demonstrate their creative boats functionality, there will be plenty to eat and drink and a musical framing is completing the moments.

Ater the exciting race, all winners will be celebrated and to keep the event on an high level, there will be a live-band playing on the aftershowparty.
